The Sweet Iron Three-Piece Dogbone Snaffle is another carefully thought out bit.  It boasts the same D-ring characteristic and the same palatable sweet iron steel yet it has a three-piece mouth.  Unlike most doggone designs, I have shortened the length of the centerpiece.  This design still sends an easily detectable signal to the corners of the horse's mouth but virtually eliminates the possibility of bumping the palate when both reins are used simultaneously.
